dc.descriptionIntroducción: en el cuerpo se refleja las deficiencias y limitaciones en el movimiento corporal humano repercutiendo en la interacción social del paciente; es por ello que, la rehabilitación del paciente debe religar su cuerpo, el movimiento, su entorno y los sentimientos herramientas necesarias para el desarrollo social e integral resignificando el cuerpo y el modelo de función-disfunción del movimiento humano. Método: Esta investigación se desarrolló bajó el enfoque cualitativo de tipo hermenéutico. Resultados y Conclusiones: los estudiantes no tienen claridad del concepto de imagen y esquema corporal, desconociendo también la evaluación, el desarrollo y la intervención de estos en el proceso de rehabilitación en pacientes con discapacidad. Desconocen dentro del currículo el desarrollo de este eje temático en su formación académica, se puede decir que el cuerpo no se integra en todo el currículo, si el cuerpo es donde se manifiesta el movimiento y no hay claridad de lo que es y todo lo que este integra es imposible que se llegue a una rehabilitación más idónea.
dc.description.abstractIntroduction: the body reflects the deficiencies and limitations in human body movement, affecting the patient's social interaction; therefore, the patient's rehabilitation must connect his body, movement, environment and feelings, all of which are necessary tools for social and integral development, redefining the body and the function-dysfunction model of human movement. Method: This research was developed under the hermeneutic qualitative approach. Results and Conclusions: Students are not clear about the concept of body image and body schema, and are also unaware of the evaluation, development and intervention of these in the rehabilitation process in patients with disabilities. They do not know within the curriculum the development of this thematic axis in their academic training, it can be said that the body is not integrated throughout the curriculum, if the body is where the movement is manifested and there is no clarity of what it is and all that it integrates, it is impossible to reach a more suitable rehabilitation.
