| dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigación, se centró principalmente en establecer si existe relación entre el coeficiente intelectual y el desempeño de las Pruebas Saber 11 en estudiantes de primer semestre de Psicología y Comunicación Social de la Corporación Universitaria Antonio José de Sucre, este estudio se desarrolló desde un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo transversal con alcance correlacional, se contó con la participación de 89 estudiantes, para dicho análisis se realizó la aplicación de la prueba de inteligencia WAIS IV, y se tuvo en cuenta el desempeño en los resultados de la prueba saber 11, para así poder establecer la relación entre las 2 variables. Respecto a lo anterior se evidenció que entre el coeficiente intelectual y el resultado de las pruebas icfes existe una correlación positiva entre las variables de estudio, dado a que el R es 0.7028 utilizando el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman y utilizando el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson se encontró que este es de 0.7225, por lo que se contrastó que estas dos variables tienen una asociación entre sí, sin embargo no se puede afirmar que tener un CI promedio, es garantía de un puntaje alto o promedio en las pruebas saber 11. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The present research project was focused mainly on establishing whether there is a relationship between the IQ and the performance of the National test (Saber 11 Tests) in first semester students of Psychology and Social Communication of the Antonio José de Sucre University Corporation, this study was developed from a cross-sectional quantitative approach with a mutual relationship, 89 students participated in this study, for this analysis the application of the intelligence test (IQ) WAIS IV was carried out, and the performance in the results of the National test ( Saber 11 test), this particular test was taken into account, in order to establish the relationship between the 2 variables. Regarding the above, it was evident that between the IQ and the result of the ICFES tests there is a positive relationship between the study variables, given that the R is 0.7028 using the mutual relationship Spearman applying the coefficient and using the mutual Pearson’s relationship intellect, it was found that it was 0.7225, so it was contrasted these two variables have an association with each other, however, there are no evidence that have a high IQ, it´s guaranty to achieve a high score. | |
