Abstract
In this research study, the characterization of the first semester psychology students of the Antonio José de Sucre University Corporation is presented
of the faculty of social sciences, and how these processes influence the academic formation of individuals, in which an instrument will be applied, called the kolb learning styles test, self-descriptive inventory of adolescents (IADA) and semi-structured survey to validate the socioeconomic level.
in order to obtain information that is conducive to this investigation; It is intended to make an analysis that allows us to categorize learning styles and how brain activation is reflected, knowing a little more detailed the anatomical bases that make up the characteristics of learning. Likewise, it would be expected that after this research it would be possible to identify, know and establish the mechanisms and strategies used in the Antonio José de Sucre University Corporation, which favor the different forms of student learning.

Se presenta en este estudio de investigación, la caracterización de los estudiantes de primer semestre de psicología de la Corporación Universitaria Antonio José de Sucre
de la facultad de ciencias sociales, y cómo influye estos procesos en la formación académica de los individuos, en el cual se aplicará un instrumento, llamado test de estilos de aprendizaje de kolb, inventario autodescriptivo de adolescentes (IADA) y encuesta semiestructurada para validar el nivel socioeconómico.
con el fin obtener información que sea propicia para esta investigación; se logro hacer un análisis que nos permita la categorización de los estilos de aprendizaje, conocer la incidencia de los factores familiares y de la misma manera dar validez al nivel socioeconómico.
Así mismo, se esperaría que posterior a esta investigación se pudiera identificar, conocer y establecer que mecanismos y estrategias utilizadas en la Corporación Universitaria Antonio José de sucre, que favorecen las diversas formas de aprendizaje de los estudiantes.
